When I was just 16, God totally changed my life by telling me that I was valuable to him and that he wasn't ashamed of me (a long story I'd love to tell you!) I decided right then that I wanted to follow Jesus. As I learned to see the inherent beauty and value I have, he taught me to appreciate the beauty in the people around me, too.
I've always wanted to use my life to show others how God sees them, so I've worked in ministry since 2018 trying my best to do that. In 2020, my husband and I bought our first camera to record video for our church's online service when the covid lockdowns hit. I liked it, but I fell in LOVE with taking photos! I loved that I could capture these little sacred moments, the raw beauty of people reflecting joy, and then watch them experience it all over again when they see the pictures.
I started Hillary Campbell Photography that summer and I have been ridiculously blessed to have so many couples invite me to document one of the most significant days of their lives and rejoice alongside them.
