Kathy + Rad – Argyle, Texas

When Kathy + Rad reached out to me and shared her story with me, I was THRILLED to get to take part in their special day!

Kathy and I met at Starbucks to chat about all the details of her big day. From the second I met her, she was gushing about her groom to be. I knew she was going to be a joy to work with! Sadly, Kathy and Rad were both widowed in the last few years. They found each other in church and fell in love through older singles meet-ups Kathy organized (ISN’T THAT SO CUTE?!) As she told me about their beginnings I laughed, cried, and laughed again at what sounded just like a teenage sweetheart story! Theirs is a story of redemption and I am so honored I was able to capture it.

Their wedding ceremony took place at The Well Church in Argyle, TX – where they first met. The details were perfect. The wedding party was made up of friendships spanning longer than I’ve been alive! How cool is that?? The ceremony was perfect, and the two gave me pleeeenty of time to capture a first kiss shot 😉

The reception was at Blue Moon Creek, which was absolutely STUNNING! (Definitely recommend for weddings in Argyle)

It was a beautiful day, but nothing was more beautiful than the clear love between Kathy and Rad and their giddy excitement to be husband and wife. Working with this pair was an absolute dream and I am so thankful to have been a part of their start to forever!
